Beth Hollowell (Administration)
Beth attended Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC where she received her BA in Psychology with a minor in Art. She worked at Catawba Mental Health Center in Rock Hill as a Clinical Counselor for four years while she attended graduate school. Beth received her M.Ed. in Agency Counseling from Winthrop University in 1996. She continued to serve adults with chronic mental illness by becoming the director of the Rehabilitative Day Program for Catawba Mental Health Center for six years. After six years as a North Carolina Child Custody Mediator Beth realized her love of art and the creative process needed to be more prominent in her career and life. The next few years Beth began teaching at the UMAR Arts Center which provides an art program for adults with developmental disabilities. In late 2011 Beth decided to work part time at UMAR and began tutoring, mentoring and teaching children of all ages in the community and at an afterschool program.
Sequoya Mungo, PhD (Curriculum and Instruction)
Sequoya Mungo has worked her entire career as an educator. From classroom teacher to teacher educator to teacher coach, most of her time has been spent in urban classrooms helping students and teachers be successful. She has a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction with an Urban Education focus from UNC Charlotte. In addition to her work at Behailu she currently coaches middle and high school teachers in low-performing schools in the Charlotte region. She also provides professional development for teachers on how to be culturally responsive in order to create inclusive classrooms.

Yoni Thull
Jonathan Thull (AKA Yoni) was born and raised in NC but after turning 18 started his travels around the world. During his time abroad he studied at universities as well as volunteered mentoring and teaching teens. He received a BA in Psychology and a MA in Conflict Resolution from the University of NC at Greensboro as well as a MA in Clinical Counseling from the University of NC at Charlotte. Yoni is a provisionally licensed therapist who has worked with a large array of populations but has focused his practice on children and teenagers. He provides therapy services to clients of all ages in his private practice Catalyst: A helping hand. Counseling and consulting services. He also works in an agency setting where he has provided outpatient therapy, Intensive In-Home therapy and in-school therapy. Outside of his therapy services Yoni is active with several local nonprofit organization and works as a community advocate to make positive change in our community.
